Our Functional Taping CPD course is designed to teach the principles of using Kinesiology Tape to support the correct structure and function of joints of the upper and lower limbs. Taught by a senior lecturer in physiotherapy & osteopathy this course will develop your skills in the correct application of kinesiology tape, its appropriate uses, contraindications and cautions for use.
The course is taught by Peter King, MSc (Ost), SRP, MCSP. a highly experienced physiotherapist and osteopath. Peter has worked as a senior lecturer in osteopathy, teaching both in the UK and internationally.
You will be continually assessed by your tutor though out the course.
You will receive a Prehospital Care Group Certificate of Attendance for 7 hours CPD.

While there are no formal entry requirements for the course, students should be working in a medical or sports related role and have sufficient training to safely assess patients and apply clinical decision making as to the appropriateness of the techniques taught in individual cases.
This course is not a licence to practice and students should always follow their Scope of Practice for their role and current employer.
